At Alabama Baptist Students, we believe the local church youth leader has one of the most vital and challenging callings in the world.
As a ministry of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, our mission is simple: we serve the people who serve students. We know that student ministry is too demanding to do in isolation. Because of that, we have built a statewide network designed to equip your hands, encourage your heart, and connect you with a community of peers who understand the daily reality of 6th through 12th grade ministry.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or brand new to the state, we provide the practical tools you need to build a sustainable ministry.
Through our Newish Network, weekly Zoom calls, and specialized training like Conclave, we help you navigate the logistics of ministry. We provide help with everything from recruiting volunteer teams to mapping out your yearly calendar.
Our goal is to ensure you do not just survive in ministry, but actually thrive in it.
Connecting the State
Ministry is better together. Our team of Connectors consists of volunteers located in every corner of Alabama who work to bridge the gap between churches.
These leaders create local groups where you can share ideas and support one another.
